Symposium on Academic Freedom and Collegial Solidarity in Times of Pressure

On 16 April, lambda nordica will hold a symposium on Academic Freedom and Collegial Solidarity in Times of Pressure at Gothenburg University. The symposium opens with two keynote presentations:   From Birth Parents to Backlash: Trans pregnancy research project" by Ruth Pearce, PhD in Sociology, Senior Lecturer in Community Development at the University of Glasgow & The (anti)gender politics of book challenges and academic freedom – Elisabeth Lund Engebretsen, Professor of Gender Research, University of Stavanger   Both keynotes are open to everyone and will be followed by a panel discussion with the speakers and members of the lambda nordica editorial board.   See more info here: https://www.gu.se/.../academic-freedom-and-collegial...   Welcome!
